Nestled in the heart of Eastpointe, Michigan, Villa Restaurant and Pizzeria invites diners on an authentic Italian journey that masterfully balances traditional flavors with a warm, inviting atmosphere. This beloved Italian and pizza restaurant at 21311 Gratiot Ave is a true gem for anyone craving rich, homemade dishes in a setting that feels at once personal and comfortably spacious.
The menu offers an impressive selection that caters to lovers of classic Italian fare and pizza aficionados alike. One cannot resist starting with their stellar appetizers: from crispy, golden Calamari and perfectly seasoned Italian Sausage & Peppers, to the addictive Fried Mozzarella Sticks and freshly baked Cheesy Pizza Bread. Each starter primes the palate with vibrant Italian flavors that feel both nostalgic and fresh.
The star of the show is undoubtedly their signature Tony's Trio — a harmonious three-course delight featuring Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna, and Fettuccine Alfredo. Each bite bursts with comforting layers of savory sauce, tender pasta, and creamy cheese, showcasing the kitchen’s dedication to crafting traditional recipes with precision and heart. For pizza lovers, their large round Pepperoni Pizza boasts a delightful sweet and crunchy crust paired with just the right balance of toppings and gooey cheese that melts perfectly with every slice. The Detroit-style square pizza is a tempting alternative, but many rave that the round pizza really steals the spotlight here.
Beyond pasta and pizza, the menu also shines with dishes like Steak Siciliano, Chicken Marsala, and Eggplant Parmesan, each prepared with fresh ingredients and care. Seafood lovers can indulge in the delicate Shrimp Scampi or crisp Perch, while hearty options such as Veal Parmesan and Pepperoni Pasta with Gnocchi offer satisfying variety.

The house salad is another standout element, famously paired with what one customer calls “the best dressing I have ever had." Many guests find themselves wanting to take a bottle home — a true testament to the thoughtful touches this kitchen brings to every dish.
To round off the meal, indulge in classic Italian desserts that melt on the tongue, like the creamy Tiramisu, rich New York-Style Cheesecake, or colorful Spumoni. For those desiring a coffee fix, authentic Italian espresso and cappuccino are served to perfection, pairing beautifully with sweet cannoli or lemon ice.

Really enjoyed our time here. The service was attentive, pleasant and friendly. The dinning area feels personal but spacious. Their in-house salad dressing is hands down the best dressing I have ever had and will purchase some to have at home. It is well worth it. Overall the food we had was good. I had to add a little salt to some of the dishes but I was completely satisfied with all that we tried and would order them again, although I want to try the pizza next time. We look forward to our next visit.
We got there 30 minutes before closing and they were so gracious to us and the food was amazing! Will definitely be back!! Such a gem so close to Grosse Pointe if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine!
If you want a place place with good Italian food that is homemade, this is the place. The cheese sticks and cheese bread came out nice and gooy, the lasagna is a big portion, meat ravioli was cooked amazingly, and the pizza, omg. The perfect amount of toppings and cheese, with a nice sweet and crunchy crust.
First time trying this pizza place I went with a simple large round pepperoni pizza and it was pretty good they also have Detroit square pizza but from the pictures the round pizza is there specialty I will definitely try it again maybe explore something different on the menu
The food here is phenomenal. We ordered a pizza with sausage, bacon and extra cheese. The Tonys trio with fettuccine Alfredo, meat lasagna and chicken Parmesan with some calimari for an appetizer. Everything was cooked perfect and the waitress was quick and attentive. I will definitely be back again!
Came here on a Saturday night about an hour and a half before they closed. WOW!!! I am so happy I came here! The atmosphere is so charming. The calamari was some of the best I’ve ever had. We got it with marinara sauce instead of cocktail sauce and that was a great choice. The chicken Parmesan was the best I’ve had around Detroit so far. I was blown away. The bread was warm, the house wine was yummy, and the sauce was perfect. I was a little less impressed by the pizza, but I’m still glad I tried it. (I just think the dough could use a bit more salt). The chicken noodle soup was also good as a side - it looks plain but the flavor was really good. Overall this was a GREAT dining experience and it really hit the spot without breaking the bank :) everything together was $45.
I got the vegetarian pizza.I was very disappointed. It didn't hit the mark for me or my son. Every friday we get vegetarian pizza from different restaurants. This one was highly recommended. Maybe their regular pizza is better, but it didn't hit the mark with us.
